Is Corn Making You Sick and Fat?

A bowl of corn flakes, a corn tortilla, a black bean salsa with bits of corn, even fresh sweet corn on the cob fired up on the grill.  Sounds safe enough right?  Sounds even quite healthy right?  Sounds gluten-free right?  Keep reading, because not every sound you hear is a good one.k.  We then, eat the GMO corn-fed cattle and poultry and we ourselves are lacking the nutrients necessary and we become weak.

  1. GMO corn is genetically altered, thereby being a “bizzarro food” if you will.  Much of this “bizzarro corn” is then fed to cattle and poutry and causing their DNA to change and mutate and become “bizzarro meat”, many with tumors, high levels of cortisol in the meat, resistant to anti-biotics and so forth.  We then, eat the “bizzarro meat” and our DNA is then changed and becomes resistant to anti-biotics and allowing our cells to mutate into cancerous cells and obese cells, and we become “bizzarro people” with diseases and illness we’ve never had before.
  2. GMO corn is put into all kinds of processed food products in the form of man-made chemical compounds such as “high fructose corn syrup”, and “partially hydrogenated oils” and “corn syrup solids”, and the list goes on.  We then eat what we think are harmless food products like Nature’s Valley Granola bars, and Doritos, and Kellog’s Corn Flakes and Pepsi and again, these mutated man-made chemicals begin to alter our DNA, and we start to visit our doctor more regularly with ailments such as digestive issues, hypertension, arthritis and inflammation, weight gain, insomnia, depression and anxiety, ADHD, and even cancer.
  3. GMO corn is also grown with the DNA of a bacteria called “BT bacteria”  which is used to blow open the stomachs of any bug that tries to take a bite of the plant.  Studies have found that not only is the BT bacteria blowing up the stomachs of bugs, but it’s also much of the cause of the influx of digestive problems in our society due to the fact that it is permeated the digestive wall and blowing open tiny cells in our digestive structure much like it does to insects, causing leaky gut syndrome, infection, food allergies and even colitis and colon cancer.
  4. GMO corn is used in my fast food and restaurants because it is cheap to process food with.  We out of constant frustration of our sickness, anxiety, and hectic lifestyle eat fast food and begin to feel sicker and sicker, more inflamed with pain and inflammation, heavier and heavier, and frankly more and more frustrated with life and ourselves.
  5.   GMOs destroy our liver function.  Your liver is responsible for fat burning, detoxing your entire system, hormone regulation, and even stress reduction…. overabundance of GMOs in our food is causing hormone and endocrine disruptions in the liver leading to type 2 diabetes, a larger influx of depression and even suicide, creating a larger need for sugar leading to alcoholism, fatty liver disease, and liver cancers, not only in adults, but in children and in pets.  Much of our pet food on the market is highly contaminated GMO food and is causing tumors and cancers in our beloved pets.

This GMO corn is higher in sugar, lower in nutrients, and being added to everything from salad dressings to crackers, to syrup bottles at IHOP, to pizza toppings and even in all natural protein bars and granola bars. Yes, even things that say “all natural” can still contain GMOs.  Too much sugar, and not enough nutrients and eating too many processed foods made from GMO corn is why we are having a disease epidemic of type 2 diabetes and cancer, and obesity.

Interesting side note….cattle and poultry are fed GMO corn to fatten them up and make them fatter to produce more fatty meat to sell.  Why then would we want to eat corn if it is used to fatten cattle?  What is it doing to our bodies?  

And another issue to ponder….there is nothing beneficial to the human body taking in genetically modified food.  The only reason it was invented was for Monsanto to make more food faster, and have a food that was resistant to bugs and weed killer.  So GMOs were made to make money for big companies, NOT to help your health in any way, shape, or form.  And this doesn’t just apply to corn.  95% of all soy is genetically modified, 75% of papaya grown is genetically modified, canola and cottonseed oils are about 90% genetically modified, and much of the alfalfa fed to dairy cows is genetically modified.  Others include: sugar made from sugar beets, zucchini and other squashes, tomatoes, and potatoes and even rice.

What can you do to become well, if you feel you have been effected by consuming GMOs??? 

  1. Begin a NON-GMO diet immediately.
  2. Clear out your cabinets of anything “corn” ingredients, unless it says “NON-gmo” or “GMO-free” or “Organic”.  
  3. Purchase only organic zucchini, potatoes, apples, squashes, tomatoes, and as much of your produce as possible should be organic
  4. Begin looking for products that contain “NON-GMO” or “GMO-free” on the label.  Vote with your dollars, and tell food companies that you will not buy GMOs.  
  5. Eat ]at restaurants that specify the use of organic, local grown ingredients, made from NON-GMO sources, and limit or avoid completely the consumption of foods from fast food chain restaurants and restaurants that cook with vegetable oil. 
  6. Change your pets feed, to Organic feed, or non-gmo feed.  This is especially important if pets are currently ill or having tumor issues. 
  7. Prepare homemade wholesome snacks for children and prepare their lunches so as to avoid GMO foods fed to them at school.  Teach your children what GMO is and why they should choose foods that are NON-GMO
  8. Visit the website: nongmoproject.org and research all the companies that are NON-GMO
  9. Do your own research on GMO and how it effects the bodies of humans and animals and make an informed decision for you and your family.  Google and watch the video “genetically modified foods in America”.
  10. Shop locally at Farmer’s Markets and natural food stores that carry NON-GMO foods.  Don’t be afraid to ask if something is NON-GMO.  And don’t be afraid to ask your local stores to carry NON-GMO.  Let your voice be heard.  

Our health is vital to our well-being, our children should not be in pain and disease-induced states, and our pets should live long happy lives free from tumors and cancers.  Please consider the cost of genetically modified foods by seeing how it is affecting you and yours and doing something about it.  You can pay a few extra dollars by buying NON-GMO foods, or you can pay for disease treatments the rest of whatever life you are robbed of by these foods and by Monsanto.
