Communicate Love…

“Good communication is just as stimulating as black coffee, and just as hard to sleep after…”

– Anne Morrow Lindbergh

Recently while perusing my way through a little boutique shop, my eyes were drawn to a little card set labeled, ‘Good conversation starters for you and your daughter.‘ It was a little card set where each card had a question a mother and daughter could ask eachother to be able to communicate.

I couldn’t help but lose my thoughts in how sad it is that our society has become that we even simply start a decent conversation with our families, and must rely on a deck of cards to help us.

We are put here on earth to be vessels of love and share that love with others by communicating with them, not through Facebook but actually face to face (novel concept it seems).

We take for granted what little time we have here on earth to be love, show live, share love, and speak loving words.  And it’s not about having all the answers or knowing precisely how to communicate eloquently.  It’s simply sharing your thoughts, your feelings, your concerns, your encouragement for others, and your loving words of kindness.

Communication is the key to any healthy relationship, and by working at sharing your words and kind actions with those around, you are also sharing the love of your Creator – something so needed by so many.  So many need to know that someone cares, that someone sees them, and that someone loves them.  Since God is Love, and love comes through communication, you are in essence sharing our great Creator’s powerful force of love every time your mouth opens in a kind way. By keeping the lines of communication open within your family, your friends, and even total strangers (not being afraid to speak words of love and encouragement to those in need around you), you will ensure not only healthy relationship to continue, but also give a wonderful gift of God’s Love.

Jah, thank You for reminding us how important it is to communicate with those we love and with those who are lost and searching for love and answers. Please give us the knowledge, the courage, and the divine oppurtunity to share with somone this week about Your love and Your faithfulness and forgiveness. May we engage in face to face, rather than Facebook and enhance our relationships with others and with you. Amen.

Hebrews 13:16 – Moreover, do not forget to do good and to share what you have with others, for God is well pleased with such sacrifices.
